Christmas Tree Farm Network

Our basic philosophy is to offer a large variety of options for our customers.  Many sources of Christmas trees will offer only 3 or 4 varieties for sale.  We have eleven types available this year in the 5 to 9 foot range most popular with most customers and we have twelve more varieties planted for future years.  In addition, within each variety, we try to offer additional choice by leaving some trees to grow totally naturally, while others are shaped (with specialized trimming equipment) into a more traditional tapered shape.  We also offer customers the choice of harvesting their own tree direct from the field or selecting one of our pre-cut trees from the comfort of our barn (altho we usually only pre-cut trees when the weather is really unpleasant).

We don’t allow cars, trucks or other gas-powered machines in the field where our trees are growing.   We believe our customers want a peaceful and safe experience for their family while they search for the perfect tree, and we think banning cars and trucks helps provide that.  While we love dogs, we also do not allow them in the field, both for everyone’s safety and because no one wants a tree in their home which recently was “marked” by someone’s dog.

All of our trees are organically grown--no herbicides or insecticides have been used on any of our trees.  Primarily that’s because we don’t want to expose our own family to pesticides nor to have them applied or stored on our property.  While we feel the chances are quite low that even trace amounts of pesticides on our trees could harm someone at Christmas-time, we also don’t want to take that chance.  And we’re sure our customers will appreciate this extra margin of safety for their families.

Three Ways to find your tree:

2.  We do also have available (at no cost)  a number of hand-pulled trailers for your tree. 12240204.JPG (95826 bytes) These light-weight “Tree Limos” are perfect for even the largest tree yet light enough that children will enjoy pulling it back to your car.
