Directions
to Shoemaker’s Ridge Road Tree Farm: From
Champaign-Urbana Go to Southeast Urbana, to the
intersection of Windsor Road and Philo Road (Note, Philo Road is not Route
130--it is the street which goes past Sunnycrest Shopping Center). Go South on Philo Road for two miles and turn left (East) on
Old Church Road. After ½
mile, turn right (South) on Ridge Road (1500E).
We’re the third house on the left.
We’ll have signs at all intersections, but call us if you need
help at 493-3571 or 493-0386.
From Philo Go North from Philo on Route 130 two miles, to County road 1100N. Turn Left and go one mile to County Road 1500E (Ridge Road). Turn Right, and we'll be the second house on the Right.
From Savoy Go East on Old Church Road 4 miles, to County Road 1500E (Ridge Road). Turn Right, (South) and go 3/4 mile to the third house on the Left.
From Tolono Go North on Route 45 one mile to the Philo/Tolono slab and turn right (East). Go 4 miles to County Road 1500E (Ridge Road), and turn Left (North). Go 2 1/4 miles to our farm on the Right.
From St. Joseph Go West on Route 150 to the first stop light at High Cross Road (Route 130). Turn Left (South) and go 4 miles to Old Church Road (also marked as Deeres Road). Turn Right (West) and go one mile to 1500E (Ridge Road). Turn Left (South) and go to the third house on the Left. From Bloomington Take I-74 East to the last (of 5) Champaign-Urbana exits, University Avenue. At the first stoplight, turn left (East) onto Illinois Route 130 and after about a mile, it will turn South towards Philo. Continue South on Route 130 for 4 miles to Old Church Road (also marked as Deeres Road). Turn Right (West) and go one mile to 1500E (Ridge Road). Turn Left (South) and we're the third house on the Left.
We hope our directions are less confusing than this street-sign at 6th and Chalmers in Champaign, but if you find they're not, please let us know..
